The Space
We live in a beautiful location! The main attraction are the outdoors. The large Ponderosa and Oak treed forest engulf the safari tent with the smell of what some say smells like vanilla. Birds are chirping, deer grazing and squirrels gathering. Sit on the porch and watch it all happen. It truly is relaxing!
I want to mention the STARGAZING here is amazing! Just push the power button on the backside of the solar panel for the lights, and it will turn them off for a better view of the night sky. Please turn them back on, if you remember. Check out Goldendale Observatory. It boasts one of the largest public telescopes in the nation! It’s free.
Guest Access
“Moonshine Hideaway “ is on private land of 20 acres. Included are 3 other sites. You are able to walk around the acreage, but please be respectful of other sites. It’s fully fenced with the only way in and out is the front entrance at this time. Please don’t go on neighbors property. Everyone has No Trespassing and they are serious! Thanks for understanding.
Other Things to Note
Please let us know if you’re going to have a outdoor fire. We need to call it in to the fire station. They like knowing where all the fires are.
Be cautious, you are in the forest where there’s wildlife. Mostly deer and the howling of coyotes. There have been sightings of cougar, bobcat, and bears. They have plenty to eat in the wild. They don’t like dealing with humans. If something does come onto your site just bang pans together if you’re afraid. They hate the noise and will runoff in most cases. Unless it’s deer, then just enjoy.
